We are pleased to announce the program for the joint TEL-ME-MOR/M-CAST Seminar On Subject Access -November 24, 2006, Prague, Czech Republic. The seminar will focus on dissemination of results achieved under the umbrella of two European projects: TEL-ME-MOR http://www.telmemor.net and M-CAST http://www.m-cast.infovide.pl/english/index.html and related projects (MSAC, MACS, LEAF and VIAF).

All subject access specialist interested in information on projects listed above and discussion on subject access incluDing multilingual access (fluent in English which will be the official seminar language) are welcome. There is no registration fee for this seminar.

The University of Economics, Prague (Vysoká škola ekonomická v Praze) is the leading university in the field of management and economics in the Czech Republic. The University of Economics, Prague has six faculties - five in Prague and one in Jindřichův Hradec in South Bohemia. These include: the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, the Faculty of International Relations, the Faculty of Business Administration, the Faculty of Statistics and Informatics and the Faculty of Economics and Public Administration. The faculty based in Jindřichův Hradec is specialized in management. VŠE is composed of about 15 500 students who are served by more than 650 academic staff as well as about 500 non-academic staff. Sixty-one percent of VŠE professors have doctoral degrees in their field.

The University of Economics grounds are easily reachable by public transport, mainly by tram Nos 5, 9 and 26 (Husinecká stop). You get on these trams at underground stops Můstek (line A, exit direction Václavské náměstí), Náměstí Republiky (line B), Hlavní nádraží (line C) and also at the biggest railway stations in Prague - Hlavní nádraží (Main Station) and Masarykovo nádraží (Masaryk Station).

You can also travel by bus number 135 (bus stop náměstí Winstona Churchilla - W. Churchill square) which will take you from the underground stops Náměstí Míru (line A) and Florenc (lines B, C). Florenc underground stop (lines B, C) is located very close to the central bus station.
